Q&A

  • What is the youngest age that will be accepted to participate at camp?

    • Student must be age 2 by June 1, 2020.

 

  • At what age does my child have to be potty trained?

    • Students must be potty trained to enroll in the 3-year-old class. We understand there may be occasional “accidents”, but 3-year-old students must be able to wear regular underwear to school.

 

  • Are there any additional fees for camp?

    • Yes. There may be additional fees for field trips and child care after 3:00.

 

  • Is there any special clothing that my child needs to wear?

    • Students need to wear comfortable clothes so that they can participate in physical activities. No crocs or open toed shoes. Students must wear athletic shoes daily. We also suggest girls pull their hair away from their face.

 

  • Can I get a refund after camp starts?

    • Refund requests must be made at least 2 weeks prior to camp (by May 15). The registration fee, $75, is non-refundable. Refunds cannot be given for registrations received after May 15. Once camp begins, refunds will only be given for medical/family emergencies with written proof from a doctor.

  • Can my child skip a grade?

    • No, Your child should be in his or her school grade. ​ We do not offer an accelerated programs. Your child is already exposed to next year class, so it will be challenge for them. 

 

  • How can I pick up my child?

    • Afternoon carpool starts at 2:45 to 3:00. Early pick up is allowed until 2:15 only. ​If you have preschool child, you should come into the classroom (if they have any K-8th grade siblings, they will be sent to preschool classroom).

  • Is child care available before and after camp?

    • Child care is available after school, 3:00-6:00. There is an additional fee for child care after camp. We do not have regular child care before camp, but if you have a doctor’s appointment or other special situation, inform the camp director.

  • Will child care be available if my child does not attend field trips?

    • No, child care will not be available. Students will not be able to attend camp that day.

 

  • Will lunch be provided?

    • Yes, lunch is included in the tuition. Snacks are offered to preschool students (age 2-4). Older students are welcome to bring their own snack (no nuts).

  • May my child bring his cell phone or IPad?

    • Students may bring their cell phones, but may not use them during class, unless the teacher gives students permission for an assignment. Cell phones may be taken and locked in the office if a student abuses following camp rules. Phones will be given to the student at the end of camp.

  • How will I get the Camp information after my registration?​

    • Once you submit your registration form and tuition payment, Camp will give you a welcome packet. You will receive your carpool number, carpool map, and curriculum brochure. You may check our website for any updates.​​​
