WELCOME

TPS Preschool is an outreach program of the Korean Church of Atlanta, UMC. TPS Preschool strives to instill principles by providing children with the conditions to promote spiritual, mental, emotional, and physical growth. We help strengthen their ability to establish healthy and meaningful relationships with children of their own age, to find joy and satisfaction in creative work.

We also provide a stimulating learning environment, while surrounding then with Christ-centered principles of grace, compassion, and love, so they grow to be servant-like leaders in this world.

Goals & Objectives

  • To teach the children Christ's love through stories from the Bible and by example.

  • To follow a curriculum that is not only academically based, but also based on Christian values.

  • To expose every child to new experiences, increase their attention span, better their vocabulary, improve language skills, and build reasoning and problem-solving skills.

  • To provide activities which increase the development of gross motor skills such as running, jumping, climbing, as well as, fine motor skills like drawing, painting, and cutting.

  • To encourage the respect of others, while learning to be a part of a large group, accept responsibility for choices, work independently, work cooperatively with others, and interact with friends.

  • To challenge a student's learning.

TPS Preschool teaches the Abeka curriculum, which boasts excellence in education from a Christian perspective.
